The 25th of April

Yesterday I celebrate my birthday...my 22nd birthday. I am glad that Irina managed to come home in time so that we could celebrate our birthday together this year too. She is like a birthday soul mate and either way I know that we will always be together on the 25th of April in our minds.

I also celebrated 3 years and 2 months since I am together with Jean. I hope all these years haven't passed in vain and we still love each other just as much.

It didn't rain...which is weird considering the fact that it almost always rains. I can’t say whether this is a good or a bad sign. Still it was on Friday, like in 1986 when I was born.

I celebrated with my colleagues as I bought them candy and they sang Happy Birthday to me. I also celebrated one month since working with them. :)

Then we went to Krishna Café where we met our all time friends. It was ok as we weren’t so many and we could talk and have a drink and laugh together. The people at Krishna gave us a cake which was nice since I haven't had a birthday cake on my birthday in a few years.

RESOLUTIONS:
1. get my BA degree and finish University;
2. try to understand and accept Bunny as much as possible;
3. get my driver's license (hopefully this summer);
4. become a better friend;
5. help the people around me more;
6. be brave in Aarhus and make friends;
7. send Peggy a package with Romanian traditional things.

Hope I'll do all these things till the next 25th of April. It isn’t much but it is important for all the aspects of my life.

M.U.N

This weekend I participated at the most interesting thing ever - Model of the United Nations. This is some sort of a UN simulation with committees, rules of procedure, votes, resolutions and passing of resolution. I was in the SOCHUM committee and we had to figure out a way to solve the problems refugees and internal displaced people have in Africa. We were only 14 girls and most of us had no experience in MUN but we were proud to obtain votes from all the other committee representatives, as our resolution passed with the most votes in the plenary session. I also received a Honorable Delegate Mention as I bravely represented the Republic of Cyprus within my committee.

It was great and though I thought it was going to be boring I had so much to learn and the feeling you have once you start debating id unique. You really feel like a major part in the world policy and considering our subject you got he feeling that you are saving life and the urge to do that pushed us during debates.

I hope I'm going to get the opportunity to participate in real debates like and really get the change to change he situation people have through my decisions.
