JobFest

This weekend I participated at my first event with CVO. We had our own little corner at Jobfest. Though I met a lot of weird, crazy people it was fun and I really enjoyed it. All in all it was a nice working Saturday.

Terminus..again

Friday night we went to Terminus with Ana. I went to visit her and her new house :)...and we ended up in the club. It was really nice and I danced a lot. We stayed till 4 and ended up going to bed at 6 something....so yesterday all I did was sleep.

April's fool = me

Today I finished my first week at the new work place. Even if I work way more I think it is better and the atmosphere is more relaxing here. Although I've been extremely frustrated in the first days because I couldn't sleep at night thinking that I'm going to disappoint everybody and fail to do anything, it seems that I'm ok till now. I love the girls and I hope they like me too. I had to learn a lot of new stuff with which I never dealt before, but Delia is great and she has patients and explains every single detail and answers all of my sometimes stupid questions. I hope I'll work here for a long period of time because I like it a lot.

Still no word from Aarhus, Denmark. They only asked me which would be my first option on the programs. I really hope I'll get accepted because I see no future for me here and everything here makes me fell so sad and depressed that I lose all my powers, hopes and dreams...and I don't want to become a plain, sad person. I don't think Romania in general has a future because everyday I can see people from my generation or younger who have a narrow mentality and they are more and more ignorant...and a country like this one doesn't need that. Anyway it's just sad to see and leave surrounded by fraud, falsity and ignorance.

But I hope better days will come for me. :)

The NATO summit starts this week, actually tomorrow. I won’t be working this week because the work place is in the restricted area so it would be difficult for me to get there. Very important powerful people are going to be in Bucharest these days. I hope I’ll get some photos from the internet to show some images of Bucharest during the summit. All I can say is that the communist spirit is still in us and we like to do everything as in the old days, the main routs of the presidents have been cleaned, rearranged, flowers have been planted, everything has been newly painted etc. This is lame I know, but it’s part of the culture. Anyway this is an important event and hosting it brings us great honor and maybe puts us on the map a little bit.
